Oculus is proud to announce the launch of our new office in British Columbia, Canada. After more than a decade of international experience, Oculus is bringing building science and enclosure expertise back to where it all began: the Fraser Valley.
Oculus founder Shawn McIsaac, P.Eng, first learned the craft of building science in Canada. Cutting his teeth on projects across Vancouver and Seattle, he later moved to New Zealand, where he founded Oculus Building Science and Facades in 2019.
There, Oculus grew into a leading consultancy, partnering with some of the region’s most ambitious architects and developers to deliver award-winning buildings that perform as beautifully as they look. Known for cutting through complexity and delivering high-performance facades (without the premium), Oculus quickly became a trusted name across New Zealand’s construction industry.
Now, after more than a decade abroad, Shawn is back home in the Fraser Valley and bringing the best of Oculus with him.
